2011-2012 Year in Review 1,700 substitutes 55,000 jobs filled 309 average jobs daily 6,700 students served daily by a substitute 1,366 returning substitutes 924 attended returning substitute meetings in June 527 non-certified teachers 395 certified teachers 81 substitutes hired into full time positions 400 returning substitutes will attend meetings in August

Early Release Days If entered as a half-day, must be released after 4 hours Full day, may require to stay and work

Nurses Must be entered into online management system prior to assignment Ensures access to computer systems Eliminates last minute phone calls to CTA or Human Resources

Long Term Assignments Enter only days when campuses are open Paying substitutes for days no teachers are working

Technology Tips Utilize both the teacher/campus favorites list Special Instructions (online and call) Type of Special Education Assignment Coaching Assignment Grade/Subject Details Miscellaneous (Field Day, Field Trips, Finals, Etc.) Notification Does not notify if there is a cancellation Please have staff member call substitute to cancel
