We were growing and active (Acts 8:39) Remember the former days (Hebrews 10:32) We wanted to be right (2 Timothy 3:16, 17) We exercised our faith (Hebrews 5:11-14) How is your appetite? Do you hunger and thirst? (Matthew 5:6) Do you will to do His will? (John 7:17)

What robs one of an appetite? Physically speaking Sickness Inactivity Eating the wrong things

What robs one of an appetite? Spiritually speaking Sickness- sin (Romans 16:18; 1 Timothy 4:6) Distraction and indifference (2 Timothy 4:10) One goes from a Truth seeker to one who despises Truth (1 Samuel 15) Eat spiritual “junk food” such as denominational books, PMA books, etc.

Check your appetite Personal study Essential for growth (1 Peter 2:2) Way to approval by God (2 Timothy 2:15) Group studies Sunday morning/Wednesday evening? Special studies? Gospel meetings home and away?

Summing up... Who is to blame? Poor cook? Inferior menu? Poor attitude? Are you willing to change? Do you want to grow? Will you pay the price?
