3
It is found near the Tropics
4
- Rainfall is abundant all year. - Two seasons; the dry and the rainy season. Climate - Temperatures are always hot, between 24ºC-27ºC. TWO DIFFERENT HABITATS

Where ? Life ? Landscape ? activerain.com/blogs/floridarealtyprofessional Not many people live there because of the heat and humidity. Some native people live by hunting and gathering plants. The main rainfores are in South and Central America, Central Africa and South- east Asia. Always dense and green with many different species of animals. The tallest trees are 40m. hight.
6
Savannah are found in Central America, America, south Asia and parts of Australia. It is a huge plain with tall grass, green in the rainy season and yellow in the dry season. Most people live on the coast or near the rivers in rural areas working in agriculture. Many animals live there, such as giraffes, zebras, lions and cheetahs. Turn to page 1 Where? Landscape? Life?

9
It is found in the northern hemisphere
10
- Winters are very cold and summers are hot. - It is very wet, it usually rains 3or 4 days a week. - It has four seasons; Winter,Spring,Summer and Autumn. - Average temperature is 3-8ºC. - It is usually cloudy. Climate

It is found in Europe, Asia and North America. Coniferous forest and taigas.Coniferous trees such as, fir and pine. Prairies of tall grass in wetter warmer areas. Steppes are in dry areas. Where? Landscape? Life? The population in the forest is very small. Most people live in prairies. People have built towns in prairies and they grow food and raise livestock. Many animals live in the coniferous forest such as squirols and moose. In summer a lot of birds migrate there. The population in the forest is very small. Most people live in prairies. MOUNTAIN CLIMATE Pluvia Loriente
14
- It is found in the highest Mountains
15
Climate -Temperatures are low in Winter and cool in Summer. -Temperatures grow colder going up the mountain. -There is abundant precipitation during the year. - It often snows in Winter.
16
INTERESTING FACT Mount Everest is in the Himalayas range in Asia. It is the highest mountain in the world It is found in the highest mountain ranges. Himalayas in Asia, the Andes in South America and Alps and Pirinees in Europe. In temperate zones mountains are not populated, people live in valleys. In hot zones mountains are densely populated because of the lower temperature. Vegetation Changes from a part of a mountain to another. Changes with altitude because of the different temperature. There is less vegetation in windy places. The vegatation in sunny slopes is different from the shady slopes. Where? Life? Landscap? Pluvia Loriente

19
It is found between the Polar Circles & the Poles. Arctic Antarctic
20
- It is very cold. - The average temperature is about-10ºC. - Strong and dry winds. - Snow falls about 2 or 4 days a week. Climate
21
Two regions; the Arctic and the Antarctic Human life is very difficult, no water and few animals or plants. Small groups of Sami and Inuit live in the Arctic regions. In the Antarctic there are only a few scientists Mainly ice and snow all around. There are tundra where the ice melts during the short summer INTERESTING FACT Antarctica is the coldest continent on Earth and it is bigger than India and China combined. Where ? Landscape ? Life ?

DESERT CLIMATE
24
It is found near the tropics and in Temperate zones
25
Weather Climate - There is little rain. - In hot deserts it is very hot during the day and cold at night. - In cold deserts it is very hot in Summers and very cold in Winters.
26
Pluvia Loriente Near the tropics and in temperate zones. People live in oasis, places with water all year round. Some nomads live there; Tuaregs in Sahara and Mongols in Gobi. The lak of water makes vegetation and animals scarce. Some especies has adapted to dry conditions. Where ? Landscape ? Life ? INTERESTING FACT FILE The Sahara in Africa is the largest desert in the world.

WARM TEMPERATE CLIMATE
29
It is found in temperate zones

Climate Mediterranean Oceanic -Temperature is high in Summer and mild in Winter. - Precipitation is not abundant. - Summers are very dry. - Temperatures are mild all year because of the ocean. - Precipitation is abundant and regular. - It rains in all seasons.
31
Vegetation is abundant and landscape is green. There are forests with oaks, ash and beech trees. Landscape has changed, many forests have been cut down to obtain room for farmlands, towns, factories or roads. Rivers in Summer carry little water. There are forest of holms, oak, and pine trees. On the coast fruit and vegetables used to be grown. PEOPLE These areas are densely populated. MEDITERRANEAN OCEANIC
