A preposition is what we use to connect words showing the relation of a noun, or a noun substitute to some other word in the sentence.

In- We use the preposition in when we talk about months, seasons, country, city or town names, and times of the day (except night) Ex. My birthday is in November. On- Use on with specific days Ex. Are you going to the game on Friday?

At- Use at for specific times Ex. We left for school at 7:30. To- Use the preposition to with verbs that show movement. Ex. Come to the movies with me.
