The Turkish fleet is destroyed by a storm and is no longer a threat Gets to Cyprus first and greets the rest of the group Capitalizes on Desdemona’s kindness and plants a seed of doubt about Cassio and Desdemona in Othello’s head Act II Turks Turks: Cassio Cassio: Iago Iago: Iago professes that he loves Desdemona; also that the thought of Othello with his wife plagues his thoughts. Declares a victory and orders a party Othello leaves Cassio in charge and tells him to restrain himself (don’t drink too much!). Cassio does not follow orders. Iago sends Roderigo after a drunk Cassio (he’s a fighter). They come running back into the scene with Cassio chasing Roderigo. Act II Othello Othello : The Party: The Fight: Montano (Governor of Cyprus) tries to stop the fight and Cassio attacks him.Montano: Othello wants to hear the story; Iago ‘gives in’ and retells the story with Cassio in the worst possible light.Resolution:
