UN WEEK-END CHARGÉ Your task is to imagine that you have just had the busiest weekend ever! AIM: To work at extended abstract level of the SOLO Taxonomy and NC Level 6 How can we reach extended abstract in this task?

Friday night / Saturday morning / Saturday afternoon / Saturday evening (repeat for Sunday). Mention one or two things you normally do too. Your daily routine activities and when you did them. Your opinions on the activities you did / places you went.

You will need to take extra care with the perfect tense: ensure you know whether to use avoir or être. When using the perfect tense with être, remember to make the past participles agree with number and gender. Remember: reflexive verbs – daily routine, take être in the perfect tense. Don’t forget the reflexive pronoun. Are you going to use any negative structures? Can you use different connectives? Can you use a variety of opinions? So who is going to have the busiest weekend?????????? Bonne chance!

Read through the homework and with the criteria from the National curriculum level descriptors in your book, decide what level you would award and say WHY. Now re-read the work, taking note of what we discussed would be needed to award SOLO Taxonomy levels “Relational” or “Extended abstract”. You should justify your choice, using appropriate vocabulary.
