2.  Patient is first assessed to see if they have a communicable disease.  If a communicable disease is present, patient is taken into an isolated room.

3.  A thorough exam is performed followed by a carbo-snap test.  If found positive, patient is placed on gurney to isolation treatment room and ward and housed until discharged.  Gurney must be sanitized and secured for patient.

4.  Take least traveled route to minimize contact with other patients.  Taken to one of two Isolation Wards:  MDRO for Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms  Isolation Ward for positive carbo dogs

5.  Gurney is properly covered and sanitized.  Patient is secured with leash and two hands.  Path of minimal contact with other patients is taken.  Exit through back gates of clinic to give back to owner.
