Patient is first assessed to see if they have a communicable disease. If a communicable disease is present, patient is taken into an isolated room.

A thorough exam is performed followed by a carbo-snap test. If found positive, patient is placed on gurney to isolation treatment room and ward and housed until discharged. Gurney must be sanitized and secured for patient.

Take least traveled route to minimize contact with other patients. Taken to one of two Isolation Wards: MDRO for Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms Isolation Ward for positive carbo dogs

Gurney is properly covered and sanitized. Patient is secured with leash and two hands. Path of minimal contact with other patients is taken. Exit through back gates of clinic to give back to owner.
