4. Definitions:  Hydrosphere?  Geosphere?  Cryosphere?  Biosphere?  Atmosphere?

Lithosphere  Layer of the earth on which we live.  We live on the top layer of the lithosphere, the crust.  The lithosphere is made up of the crust and the thin upper layer of the mantle which is solid.  Since most of the mantle is hot liquid which flows, the lithosphere is able to slide along top.
