Two Types of Stress Eustress- good stress Describes changes or challenges which benefit an individuals growth and development, increases self-esteem and self confidence Distress - bad stress Persistent feeling of loss of control, being overwhelmed, threatened, or isolated. Stress is toxic and can lead to numerous physical and emotional illnesses – stress- linked diseases/addictions.
