2014-15 Capital Improvement Program What is a Facilities Assessment? Each supervisor and lead mechanic assessed the condition of the system in which they maintain and assigned a condition code: red, yellow, or green: Red means it needs to be replaced within 1 year. Yellow means it needs to be replaced within 2-4 years Green means the system is good for 5 or more years. Cost estimates were completed on all red items and some of the yellow items which could be completed with in-house work force.(Biggest bang for $ using in-house work force). 2014-15 Capital Improvement Program What does the Facilities Assessment tell us? Systems needing to be replaced or upgraded are shown in red and yellow. Since many schools have had additions built at different times, the block is an average condition and may contain some red and greens and averages to a yellow. Due to age and system conditions (the most red and yellow systems)- we need to start planning for school-wide renovations at: Sedgefield Intermediate Sangaree Elementary and Intermediate Schools Devon Forest Elementary School Berkeley County School District 7

Loading dock is unsightly and the parking area creates a traffic jam. We have closed the parking lots with cones, however a brick wall would have curb appeal and create a safer store front.
