COMPASS If you haven’t taken Compass (and if you need to take Compass) we recommend you prepare for this. Refer to the quick link on the left hand side of your homepage of Campus Connect – Compass Review.

Register for COMPASS From this website, select Southeast and then select the campus where you wish to Compass. http://www.ivytech.edu/compass/

After COMPASS Upon completion of Compass, you are immediately given a copy of your Compass scores. Take these scores to Student Affairs where they will be explained to you. After the explanation, you will either be advised or you will make an appointment to be advised.

Student Affairs The Place to Go For: –Submitting a Course Enrollment Form/using a computer to drop/add on-line –Submitting a Change of Enrollment Form –Submitting Change of Information Form –Submitting official academic records, such as high school and college transcripts, ACT, and SAT scores –Requesting official copies of Ivy Tech transcripts

FERPA Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act –In order for the College to release your private student record information, you must provide written consent –FYI--Information will not be provided to parents unless the student (over 18 years old) signs a consent form—see Student Handbook or Catalog –Consent form remains in effect for one calendar year from the date it is received in the Student Affairs Office –For more information about FERPA, go to: http://www.ivytech.edu/indianapolis/registrar/ferpa.html

Ivy Tech is a smoke-free campus. –Allowed in the parking lot and designated area only Children are not allowed in classrooms and labs. –For safety reasons, must be supervised at all times Park in the designated area that fits your situation.
