BI Applications Enablement for APAC Oracle Direct Team Harnam Thandi

Gartner says… Oracle SWOT Analysis June 2009 “For the large installed base of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), PeopleSoft and Siebel customers, the growing use of OBIEE to deliver prebuilt reports and analytic applications against a packaged data warehouse built from their core operational applications makes the logic for adopting it very compelling indeed. Oracle has concentrated on integrating its BI platform into its other product lines and on making improvements to the integration of security and administration capabilities across its stack. The proximity between its operational applications and its BI products is proving attractive — sales momentum into the Oracle installed base is evident from inquiries with Gartner analysts from Oracle E-Business Suite customers regarding their use of OBIEE alongside these applications.”

Gartner says… Oracle SWOT Analysis June 2009 “Packaged analytic applications can significantly reduce the time it takes to deploy BI and ongoing cost of ownership, if the requirements match well enough to the packaged content such that customization is minimal. Of all the BI platform vendors, Oracle has arguably the most developed portfolio of packaged analytic applications.”
