Preliminary Measures Professionalize out-going voice mail message Formalize process to have messages relayed (tell everyone who may answer your phone) Target a two to three week period to conduct interviews Update calendar... have it accessible at all times

Know and Be Ready to Discuss Internship Requirements (1-3) # weeks, including beginning & ending parameters Full time, 40 hours/week –overtime, nature of the job if expected of other staff Sites used by former ISU interns

Internship Prelim Requirements (2-3) # of letters you sent out # of interviews you anticipate having interview evaluation forms must be completed (per site: one by site personnel, one by you) offers, hopefully you will have options PRE-commitment meeting w/ Ms. Henson –“think-tank” session –revised/interview set of objectives REQUIRED –NOT a stumbling block learning agreement
