HOW THE WINDS AFFECT THE FLIGHT Some definitions: Wind Shear:- Variation in vector wind along the flight path of a pattern, intensity and duration to displace the aircraft abruptly necessitating substantial control action. Low Altitude Wind Shear:- Wind Shear along the final approach path or along the runway and along the take-off and initial climb-out paths.
