What causes succession? Fires Mining Agriculture Logging Catastrophic events (floods, earthquakes, volcanic activity etc.) The first 4 bullets above are examples of Secondary succession, the 5 th, primary succession

Secondary succession Has established soils. This is not the case with primary succession.
