4. HOW RFID WORKS RFID tags contain an antenna for transmitting data and a memory chip for storing data. RFID is a one-way system – from tag to scanner- that can work at distances of many feet. 5. NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION (NRC) NFC is a newer radio frequency technology that has more capabilities than RFIP.
