9. Achievements Petroleum Engineering Department  Revised B.S. Program both in Petroleum Engineering and Applied Petroleum Engineering has been approved by the University Board.  Two students presented their technical papers at the European Student Paper Contest, 2001 and were awarded 3rd and 4th prizes.  The department organized a ceremony of the PETE Endowment Chair titled "Water Flooding and Improved Oil Recovery
