1 Design Requirements/Constraints: It must be large enough for Pricilla to use without help. It cannot be smaller than the size of the average mouse. It must be an easy to hold design. It must be able to connect to a serial port. The cord must be able to reach the wheelchair. It cannot be fragile, easily broken, or have loose parts. A tray to hold the mouse in a limited area on her lap. It must be cost effective. It must be durable and have an appealing appearance.

2 Idea #1 - Jake For this idea we will use sensors to make large buttons. These buttons would each have a corresponding direction. When the button is held down the mouse will move in that direction and when released it will stop. We can also have two buttons that will act as the left and right click buttons. With our design we can specifically change the problems that the original concepts on the market had to match our clients needs.

3 Idea #1 – Pros/Cons Pros She does not need to grip anything Precise control Can be made to reach wheelchair Inexpensive Can easily made both durable and aesthetically appealing Cons She must use two hands to move diagonally Cannot be used one- handed like a normal mouse Inconveniently large
