Alpha Lambda Chapter at the University of Florida The University of Florida has over 50,000 students 16 colleges; hundreds of majors The Health Education and Behavior major has over 400 student enrolled The Alpha Lambda Chapter has approximately 100 members ESG Executive Board members: 8 students and 1 faculty advisor

What Didn’t Work! Too many social media outlets Solution: Focus on ONE outlet and stick to it! Alpha Lambda favors Facebook Unnecessary “items” for members, usually given out at the beginning of the academic term Folders Solution: Encourage the use of personal agendas to include ESG events and meetings instead of just using an agenda as a means to keep track of academic due dates, etc.
