CROFTING REGISTER  The Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 requires the establishment and maintenance of a public Register containing crofts, common grazings and land held runrig.  The new Crofting Register will be held by the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland (RoS).  Crofting Register open November 2012

STAKEHOLDERS ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES SCOTTISH MINISTERS  Scottish Ministers have undertaken to meet the costs of first registration of common grazings and land held runrig CROFTING COMMISSION  Responsible for the issuing and the submitting of registration applications for common grazings and land held runrig RoS  Keeper of the new Crofting Register SHAREHOLDERS/GRAZING COMMITTEES  Agreement of common grazing boundaries and shareholders.
