`This year in social studies it was pretty good. By that I mean there was like lots of work I wasn’t used to getting in 3/4. What I did like was vocab. I would like to color and look up the definitions of the word. That was fun to me and we got class work to do it. The other thing I kind of like in social studies is scholastic news I just didn’t like how we had to write on the news. I just like when we all just read about the news and learn new things

I think that the most important thing I have learned was about Judaism. It had talked about the bible and what happened in B.C.E. It had also talked about Moses, Abraham and Solomon and his son. I think that you might need to learn this because those people were very important. Like Moses I think was the most important because he took in the Ten Commandments and freed the slaves. I also think that Hinduism was a good thing to learn because it talked more about The Hindus beliefs and there rituals.

One of my favorite activities was current events. What we do is pick a event happening in the current time and you present on different days. So I like to present and share on my current event. My other one is when there were different social classes like peasant’s artisans and the pharaoh. There were other social classes though. I was a artisan we would paint and sculpt. People had to play different parts. I was just an artisan. I had brought in the canvas for us. We did well in our project.

One of my goals is to get good test scores. Social Studies I think are the hardest academic for me. I just want to succeed in it. When I first started it when our first scholastic news I got a D! I was so worried on if it was bad because I was just starting. But I keep on trying to get good grades and get all A’s and so far I am doing good in the school year.
