2 Their Childhood They loved to read books and invent things In their early adulthood they opened a bike shop Also started to print newspapers Their parents were Bishop Milton Wright and Susan Koerner Wright

3 Their Major Accomplishments The Wright Brothers are two of the most important people in the world. Not only did they build airplanes, but they also built and sold bikes, printed newspapers, and MADE their own toys. They impacted how we, humans, travel today. If it weren't for the Wright Brothers we might not be able to fly across the whole, entire world. You also might not be able to tell you friends, "Guess what, I went on an airplane!" Now we have airplanes that go faster and fly higher.

4 Interesting Facts Another man that lived in another country, named Samuel P. Langley said that he invented the first flying airplane Opened the Wright Brothers Company in 1909 Wilbur's quote was, "It's possible to fly without motors, but no with out knowledge and skill."

5 COURAGE They also showed respect by respecting their whole community and be careful of others. PERSEVERANCE The Wright Brothers showed perseverance by never giving up to fly even though it took more than 1000 times. RESPECT The brothers also showed courage when no one believed a human could fly so the Wright Brothers proved them wrong. Character Traits

6 We remember the Wright Brothers We remember the Wright Brothers by their perseverance of never giving up to fly. They were added to the Hall of Fame because of their act of knowledge and skill. They now have a very important memorial that represents their power to do anything if you put your mind to it. Wilbur died on May 30, 1912. Orville died about thirty years later on January 30, 1948. They have shown us that anything is possible.
