CEENQA: FACTS & FIGURES founded in 2001 (oldest QA-agencies network in Europe) registered in Düsseldorf, Germany non-governmental and non-profit organization Main goal: “the cooperation between the member organizations in the field of quality assurance in higher education and contributing towards the development of the European Higher Education Area” Membership to CEENQA: open to organizations recognized by the educational authorities of their countries as national or regional QAAs in higher education. 2

CEENQA‘s project relevant expertise CEENQA… pools QA-expertise of its members – in different countries and contexts consolidates diverse best practices and know- how in QA gathers experiences in post-transformation context has ist core competence in using the synergies of diversity and exchange 6

CEENQA’s role within the project: WP 1: Cooperation with HEA: set-up of the expert groups; in mapping of the existing qualifications practice; trainings and workshops WP 2: contribution in developing and creating the Guidelines for QF WP 3: contribution to writing the Handbook for Learning Outcomes WP 4: Cooperation with HEA: establishing an external assessment team; CEENQA member delegated for external assessment team. WP 6: Contribution to mid-term and final internal evaluations; involved in the ongoing internal quality control and monitoring. WP 7: Active dissemination and contribution to the web portal WP 8: Administrative and financial management. 7
