7 General Recommendations for New Layout  Include labels for data elements, when possible  Combine print and electronic resource data elements into one CIP Data Block  When a title is available to the public in the Library of Congress catalog, the data block includes a URL Permalink. When selected, the permalink takes the user to the LC catalog, where a bibliographic record for the title could be downloaded.
