3. Pink Out Thursday! "Parkside, this Thursday is the last home football game of the season. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month we are asking the WHOLE SCHOOL to wear pink this Thursday to school and to the game against Metz middle school. We are hoping to have a SEA OF PINK at the game which begins at 4:45 and the cost is $1 for students. Students, HOWEVER, are not permitted to stay after school unattended and must go home if they are not participating in an after school club or activity. Please come out and support the Parkside football team for our first ever PINK OUT!!!"

5. Attention all NJHS Members- There will be a mandatory meeting after school this Thursday., October 22nd. We will be having a guest speaker, so please report to the cafeteria promptly after dismissal. The meeting will end at 4, but NJHS officers will be staying a few minutes later. NJHS

PWCS is sponsoring two High School Specialty Information Nights: October 26 from 7-9pm at Gar-Field HS October 27 from 7-9pm at Stonewall Jackson HS A link to the Specialty Program application is on the PKMS Counseling Website. The deadline to apply is: February 1, 2016. **Deadline for the Center for Fine Arts at Charles J. Colgan Sr. HS is December 11, 2015. Auditions will be held on January 9 th at Woodbridge HS

7. Ecology Club Sign-ups for Ecology Club will be on the bulletin board outside the cafeteria. Space is limited to the first 24 students. The first meeting will be held on November 4.

8. Beauty and the Beast We have a Cast for Beauty and the Beast! We will meet Today in Mrs. Livingston's room. You will receive scripts and rehearsal calendars and we will begin with Act I, Scene 1. Come ready to bring this show to life.

12. Multicultural Club This year Parkside will host a Multicultural club! Monthly meetings will include games, movies, guest speakers and even cooking classes. The first meeting will be October 29 th after school. Sigh-Ups are outside Room # 824
