Boiler Replacement Scheme Limited trial to replace G-Rated boilers for HEES Plus eligible properties Applicant will have Repair Visit as standard on HEES but if boiler identified as G-Rated will go straight to replacement Programme will complement, not contend, with Welsh Boiler Scrappage scheme

Whole House Approach Pilot Partnership project with Welsh Assembly to test methodology in draft Fuel Poverty Strategy Different approach to eligibility – Household Energy Efficiency level (EPC F and G) now introduced Trialling new measures- Solid Wall Insulation, Solar Thermal, GSHP etc

WHAP Headlines Trial on 250 Private Sector Properties, different builds (Detached, Semi, Flat etc) Applicants must be HEES/HEES Plus eligible (current eligibility rules) AND have a property in the F or G EPC band eaga Cymru phoning HEES applicants to conduct remote assessments – roughly 7 questions to provide estimated EPC Eligibility confirmed at Assessment visit Currently 36 Assessments undertaken

Clean Energy Payback Scheme Scheme to install Solar PV panels using the Feed-In Tariff (FIT) Can support Arbed and Area-Based Schemes Benefit to Social Landlord – free install, improves housing stock, reduces CO 2 emissions Benefit to Tenant – cheap electricity, reduced energy bills
