Purpose & Process Provide specific and targeted support and further facilitate connections across states and national collaborators State members will produce tangible outcomes to share with the full network at the annual summit. CCSSO will plan, schedule, facilitate, and design content for the action group meetings and webinars with feedback and input from members. A CCSSO project liaison and external experts will provide thought leadership and assistance to states for the duration of the work. States will individually or collectively use a modified “Rapid Prototyping” process to test out a practice or refine a policy that advances the work.
8
Rapid Prototyping Rapid prototyping is a process that takes a 60-90 day cycle to “do/learn/refine”. Supported by the social implementation theory of “Small Wins” articulated by Karl Wieck, which urges stakeholders to tackle large scale social challenges by initially identifying an early victory which can be a building block toward larger change. The focus of the action group meetings will be to examine resources, brainstorm ideas, track progress and collaboratively problem solve.
