Faith: An unquestioning belief that does not require proof or evidence. We do have evidence for our faith: Bible / 66 books, 40 authors, written over 1600 years, fulfilled prophecy We have the resurrection of Jesus We have the testimony of changed lives

I. Abel’s faith / Worship of God Hebrews 11:4 – “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testing of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.”

I. Abel’s faith / Worship of God We do not know many details about Abel’s faith but we do know that his faith caused him to worship God Man has a natural inclination to worship Romans 1:19 – “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them”

II. Enoch’s faith / Walk with God Hebrews 11:5 – “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
