Members continued… Address the Inactive-Delinquent Accurate Attendance records kept- watch for absence patterns more than two in a row (that are unexplained) contact them after 3 in a row and definitely before 6 in a row. Changing Stewardship and Involvement patterns – “Danger Will Robinson.”

Delinquent Follow Up – PRAY then CONNECT Phone to set up a visit and prepare for follow up visit(s)… The Caring Elder book has a list of several topical bible passages - Study Bibles and Catechism are other resources BE INTENTIONAL … GO!

Delinquent continued… Home Visits or offsite meal - “I’ve missed seeing you at church…is everything ok? Or “what’s going on?” LISTEN, receive what they are saying non- judgmentally. Encourage them to return/ you keep in touch. Attending elsewhere – need to transfer or be released from membership. Know what your process is. Exit Interviews – not done by the pastor.

How could you join Him in His work? How can you help connect them to Jesus and His Church? What does your church offer that would be beneficial to them, their family and faith?
