3 INTRODUCTION Incentives is considered one of the most important factor that can encourage workers to put their good effort on task and work more efficiently. In tourism and hospitality industry, it is necessary for organization to provide incentives in order to motivate their workers. Can help to increase job satisfaction.

4 DEFINITION Incentive : External temptation and encouraging factors that lead the individuals to work harder; they are given due to individual’s excellent performance since the worker work harder and produce more effectively when he feels satisfied in the institution. (Palmers, 2012)

5 IMPORTANCE OF INCENTIVES Looking for qualified employees who able to efficiently achieve institution goals because it’s the major role in employee productivity. Need for the employee to be recognized and appreciated for their effort. Help employee to overcome a lot of their obstacle at work

9 CONCLUSION Incentives is the important things that an motivate employee to work more harder not only in achieving firms objectives, also can make employee satisfied with their work and fulfill their self actualization as been stated in Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs. With incentives, employer also can measure the performance of their employee and who is the best one that should be considered to be given attention for their good performance.
