Beverly Holmes  She came to Poland in 2000 and chose this country: ‘”because Baptist Seminary invited us to come”.  She says: „The best thing about Poland is definitely meeting people.”  Her favourite food is „gołąbki” and „żurek”.  Her husband and she teach English and about Bible.  In the USA she was teaching P.E.

3. Ted Holmes  Ted worked as a pastor in church, in Tennessee.  In Poland Ted likes The Baltic Sea, mountains and the landscape along the Vistula river. He feels good in Warsaw as he lives at Ursynow.  He has been in Poland for 6 years, but he plans to stay 10 years more.  His most favorite food here are: „gołabki”, „kotlet schabowy”.  His favorite drink is water but he also likes compot which they do not have in America.  He used to keep thinking that in America he could live a better life, but now he has changed his mind. He likes Poland for good means of transport. He can go into town and take a bus later to get back home. In America there are just cars. He also likes Poles.

Bill Lockrem ● Bill has been in Poland for nine months. ● His favourite Polish food is: „pierogi”, „kiełbasa” and „bigos”. ● Bill came to Poland to teach English. ● He has been to Radom, Szczecin, Lublin, Warszawa ● In his opinion, there is too much traffic in Warsaw and he wants to move out of the city.

5. Sports English Club with Stephanie Cobb ● At sports English Club we play basketball, handball and different games. ● Sports English club is on Wensday in our school. ● Stephanie teaches English and the students teach Stephanie Polish. ● In Poland Stephanie likes the food, beautiful sea and mountains. ● What Stephanie likes the best is: people and making friends. ● Her favourite town is Zakopane.

6. Students’ opinion on Quizes School quizzes are definitely too often. There is no doubt they give too much unhealthy stress for growing and developing people. Having too little time for hobbies, friends and developing interest negatively affects creativity. School is also too hard and serious in our opinion. We think that we should have the right to upgrade any mark, not only ones.
