Introduction ● Optical Fibers With no Conventional Index Profile – Each fiber has own characteristics, of geometry, refractive index profile and obvious each one has particular applications. (Laser, landslide of dispersion, amplifiers, etc.)

Descripcion de Solucion T he characteristic equation is derived by matching, using continuityconditions, the tangential components E, Ez, and H, Hz in each boundary. This provides a system of twelve linear equations for the twelve unknown factors. When using the continuity conditions of Ez and Hz, we can eliminate A E, A H, A E, H E and H H. This permits us to reduce our system of equations to one of 8X8. In order to avoid trivial solutions the determinant of the given system should vanish. This requirement yields the mode condition that determines the propagation constant.
