5 Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program 60+ educators and professors trained on how to design and deliver entrepreneurship courses 5,000+ participants in entrepreneurship awareness programs over the past two years 40+ partnerships created to support our eco-system partners, including universities, corporate, civil society and international organizations 2,000 youth competed in our startup competitions, and received training on entrepreneurship and small business management 50+ entrepreneurs incubated at Flat6Labs trained through the AUC Entrepreneurs Development Program (EDP) 50 startup teams (~250 entrepreneurs) exposed to mentors through speed mentoring and other matching activities

12 Purpose To Develop academic and educational cooperation on the basis of equality and reciprocity

13 Scope of Activities Research case study development academic exchange of students and faculty, academic materials, publication, professional internships, and technical cooperation.

14 Mission To build linkages among African business schools focusing on teaching and research in the areas of entrepreneurship, small business management, innovation, and start-ups. Also, to invite collaboration between African and Western institutions in the academic study and teaching of entrepreneurship, particularly in Africa.

15 Proposed activities 1 Develop a structure and governance system for the consortium. Annual general meetings for leadership and research. Periodic meetings regarding specific research proposals or research interests. Student exchange. Faculty exchange. Joint degree programming. Collaborative research.

16 Proposed Activities 2 Study tours. Seminars with faculty and students from European and North American universities. Exchange of incubated start-ups. Develop a pool of trained mentors within Africa. Generate case studies on entrepreneurial firms and small businesses within Africa.

17 Proposed activities 3 Cooperate on research that focuses on family business. Consortium partnership with a private firm or angel or venture capital network.

18 Future plans Cooperation with International Think Tanks Partnership and linkages with Western Universities Linking Students/Entrepreneurs Internationally
