Males are four times more likely to die from suicide than females, yet more females will attempt it. A few warning signs of suicide are change in eating and sleeping habits, and lose in interesting of usual activities. The advantage would be that maybe that the person considering suicide would get help, the disadvantage would be potentially breaking promises. Get help from someone, before it is too late. Advantages, that it might help the person not have the thoughts of suicide. The disadvantages, would be that the help wouldn’t work and it would happen anyway. Recognition and early intervention of mental and substance abuse disorders is the most effective way to prevent suicide and suicidal behavior. Advantages are that the specialist can help, disadvantages include not noticing the problem early enough.
