2. NOT to Do List
Never write use a font size that is too small to see from your audience’s perspective,
Never use a background that is too gaudy and takes away from the content if the page.
Never use sounds that last too long; you do not want the sound to continue as you speak,
Never write too much on one slide; you do not want your audience to read along with what you are speaking about.
Never add too many effects to a slide.

3. To Do List
Always write in a font size that is visible for the audience.
Always use a background that allows your audience to focus on the content.
Always write only main ideas or key points on slides; you want your audience to listen to what you have to say.

4. Assignment Unit 2-1 1) Choose a topic that interests you
2) Find five photos from the Internet to place on your slides or use clip art.
3) Create 6 slides using the information read today.

4) You must have a title page (Name, Instructor, Class, Hour & Assignment)
5) You are going to create a slide presentation about your interests. You only have five slides to do this! I want you to use four different layouts.
6) Add notes on the bottom of each slide about what you would be speaking about during the presentation. (No, you are not presenting this to the class)

Before you ask, try to find it on your own by typing the question in Help! You may need to find things on your own when working alone!
To add a new slide, go to the Insert tab.
To add notes, type notes at the bottom of the screen, (add notes).
Use content layouts when adding photos or clip art.
You may use many of the same features as Microsoft Word when creating slides.
Go to Slide Show to view what the presentation slides will look like.
