How Students Access the Assessment 22 Property of ScholarCentric

When Talking to Students about the Survey Refer to the assessment as a “survey,” not a test. Use phrases such as:  “This is not a test…”  “There are no right and wrong answers …”  “You will not be graded….”  “Answer each question honestly…”  “If a question is confusing, let me know and I will explain it to you…” 23 Property of ScholarCentric

Each student must enter a unique Student ID. This can be their district-assigned ID (sometimes called a “lunch number”), or you can assign your own IDs. If you want to separate your data by Class, assign each class a unique Class Number (you can use any numbers 01-99) and have the teacher write the proper class number on the board when the students take the assessment. If you do not want to use unique Class numbers, have all students enter “1.” Starting the Survey 24 Property of ScholarCentric

1. Have students go to https://www.GoClearPath.com and click on “Students enter here.”https://www.GoClearPath.com 25 Property of ScholarCentric

This can be their district-assigned ID (sometimes called a “lunch number”), or you can assign your own IDs. Note: the Spanish option is only available for and Level 2 (secondary).

4. Have students enter their first and last name, and then select “Next.” 28 TIP: Having students enter their names will make it easier for you to identify students when reviewing the data reports. These fields are optional.

5. Have Students enter their Class Number, Race/Ethnicity, and Gender. Then have them select “Next.” 29 TIP: If you want to separate your data by Class, assign each class a unique Class Number (you can use any numbers 01-99) and have the teacher write the proper class number on the board when the students take the assessment.
