Unofficial Transcript (clean, unmarked copy) Resume (polished, corrected, clean and unmarked) have 10 copies Letters of Recommendation (if you have them) Pertinent questions for specific schools

Print address labels to paste on the College Information Cards! –Name, address, e-mail, phone, high school, year of graduation

Visit the National Scholarship Service Website: www.nationalscholarshipservice.com Make a list of your dream schools Visit their websites, and update your GPA charts, and make a list of all of the questions that you have that are left unanswered on their website.

What Should I Ask? What is the average class size at your institution? Generally, what is your college known for? I’m a ____ type of learner, is your school a good fit for me? What is the quality of the dorms on your campus? How much debt, generally, do your graduates leave with?

What Should I Ask? Does your institution offer any scholarships that you feel I might be eligible for? How long should I expect to wait for an answer once I submit my application? Estimate the percentage of work study, loans, grants, and scholarships awarded in your financial aid packages. Will professors or graduate students teach my courses?

What Should I Ask? How many freshmen return for their sophomore year? How safe is the campus and its surrounding neighborhoods? Honestly, would you send your child here?
