5. Visit the National Scholarship Service Website: www.nationalscholarshipservice.com Make a list of your dream schools Visit their websites, and update your GPA charts, and make a list of all of the questions that you have that are left unanswered on their website.

6. What Should I Ask? What is the average class size at your institution? Generally, what is your college known for? I’m a ____ type of learner, is your school a good fit for me? What is the quality of the dorms on your campus? How much debt, generally, do your graduates leave with?

7. What Should I Ask? Does your institution offer any scholarships that you feel I might be eligible for? How long should I expect to wait for an answer once I submit my application? Estimate the percentage of work study, loans, grants, and scholarships awarded in your financial aid packages. Will professors or graduate students teach my courses?

8. What Should I Ask? How many freshmen return for their sophomore year? How safe is the campus and its surrounding neighborhoods? Honestly, would you send your child here?
