4. Academic GPA Fulton County does NOT calculate on a 4.0 scale Only core classes are counted (Language Arts, Science, Math, Foreign Language, and Social Studies) Contact the college admissions office Fulton County counselors CAN NOT calculate GPA’s for you

5. GPA Cumulative Numeric Average: GPA for Fulton County 100 point scale Weighted GPA (includes every grade on your transcript and honor points)

HOPE GPA HOPE Scholarship: 3.0 College Prep All honor and AP points are removed You need four advanced courses in high school Calculation and a 0.50 weighting is added back in for AP courses only, not to exceed 4.0. For example, a grade of 96 in AP Lang/Comp  Remove the 7 honor points = 89; usually an 89 = 3.0 however this is an AP course, so 0.50 weighting added back in for an AP course; total weight for this course is 3.5. Middle school Courses are NOT counted A 2.99 GPA does NOT qualify you for HOPE. All calculations are done by the Georgia Student Finance Commission.
