https://www.gov.uk/apply-apprenticeship HRC/CRC/PRC have information on their websites about apprenticeships WATA have information about apprenticeships in the fields of Engineering, construction, business and administration Talk to Laura when she interviews you.

Post 16 courses – level 3 or A levels If you know you want to go on to university or you want to apply for a Higher Level apprenticeship, then Level 3/A level courses are for you. Universities will specify which A levels and grades they require (and GCSE grades) UCAS Higher Apprenticeships will usually specify 3 C grades at A level.

Why St Peter’s Sixth Form? Results at St Peter’s are improving. In 2015 we saw fantastic results in many subjects such as Biology Chemistry Geography Psychology German PE ICT New courses being offered: Peterborough United Football Academy Hairdressing at Level 2 and Level 3 Meaningful work experience to help future progression Addenbrookes/Doctors Schools

Successes All of our students had a progression route at the end of year 13 All students who applied to university received an offer from their first choice university – 3 students received unconditional offers based on their predicted results/personal statements/references 10% of year 13 students who applied to uni, are now at a Russell group university 40% of our students are now studying a STEM based subject at University Those students who did not go to Uni, went into further education, an apprenticeship or employment

What next? Open Evening tomorrow: 7pm-830pm Courses on offer – talk to students and HoDs Other providers will be available to help – Marshalls, NHS, WATA, All year 11 students will be interviewed WB 16 th November by Laura Jenkins. WB 7 th December – Sixth form interviews and confirm choices. Places offered to you February 1 st
