10.  I will adhere to the standard district grading scale (A- 90%, B- 80%, C- 70%, etc.)  Grades will be determined by the following %:  Formative = 15% of your grade  Summative = 85% of your grade  Formative assignments: homework, classwork, some quizzes – you are practicing your skills  Summative assessments: tests, projects, presentations, some quizzes – you are showing proficiency & growth

12.  Hard copy is usually preferred unless otherwise noted.  Homework, projects, papers, etc., are expected to be turned in on the day they are due.  Exceptions will be made on a per-case basis.
