Dear Teachers and students, It is with immense gratitude I start this letter as you are aware Jivhalla Assumption Social Center gear to empowerment of women in Tribal costal suburbs of Western Maharashtra. Along with women we also undertake educational and formative programs for Tribal and Dalit children including dropouts from schools. All our effort is to develop a sense of dignity and self respect among poor and marginalized women who are otherwise downtrodden by powerful landlords. We also give them technical training which will enable them to start something by individually or as a group and become economically better. The centre furthermore makes IT training available to children who will not otherwise have access to computers.

10. Stitching and Embroidery Women are taken to Bombay to meet Women entrepreneurs Tailoring class ladies with the teacher

12. Classes from pregnancy care till menopause.

13. Training on Capacity Building Training about LIC policy and distributing the money for those who completed 10 years.

20. The generous donation you have made available to us will be utilized towards construction of a center for activities and formation of poor women and children. I know that school teachers and children made small as well as big sacrifices in order to collect the funds sent to us.
