Each tense consists (made up of): Timeframe + Aspect Timeframe = Past, Present, Future Aspect = Gives more information about meaning ex. –ing can mean duration or length of activity

Examples Simple Present
Timeframe = Present Aspect = habit, routine ex. I always jog on Thursdays. Present Continuous/Progressive Timeframe = Present Aspect = in process, incomplete Ex. Tobey is listening to Vicki now.
