8. A Generous Giver… Take Care of Each Other To Please God, not done for show

9. Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

10. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. ~Matthew 6:2-4~

12. Giving Like Our Father Shows Our Trust—v. 44 For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.

13. For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. ~Matthew 6:32-33~
