10 Luminaria Bags and Sales Sell 10 bags, raise $100! Ask the people you sell bags to please decorate or offer to decorate for them Turn in luminaria bags at Bank Night Please print clearly on the Luminaria form. The volunteers use that information to fill in the scrolling names during the luminaria ceremony

11 Luminaria Lighters Please bring lighters to help light luminaria bags Our DJ will announce when to start lighting the candles in the bags

12 Luminaria Remember Ceremony The Ceremony is our memorial service to honor and remember those fighting the battle or those who have left our lives too soon Absolute silence is needed Tell team members and anyone attending Relay that will be part of your campsite that silence is a must

13 Registration & Bank Night Imagine a world with more birthdays!

14 Registration & Bank Night Commitment Fees All commitment fees not paid during the online registration process are due at Bank Night or when you turn your donations in Team captains will not be able to pick up t-shirts for team members who did not register by the deadline or have not paid their commitment fee.

15 Registration & Bank Night Donation Envelopes Each participant has an envelope that separates donations by type –Fundraising dollars and Luminaria dollars can be turned in together –If online only, no envelopes need to be turned in Fill out the Grand Total with the actual cash and/or checks that are enclosed in each envelope

16 Registration & Bank Night Matching Gifts If applicable, fill out the matching gift box section Be sure to include any matching gift forms

17 Registration & Bank Night Gaming Mark any donations from gaming activities and fill out the total dollar amount. So, what is gaming? –Gaming essentially is gambling that you are going to win. Share the Pot games Casino games Midway games (ring toss, hole in one) Races with wagering (stick pony races) Wheel of Fortune

18 Registration & Bank Night Luminaria As we said before, fundraising dollars and Luminaria dollars can be turned in together Make sure to include the luminaria tracking form

19 Registration & Bank Night Incentives and $1000 Club Individuals raising $250 or more are eligible for incentive prizes –Individuals who elect to receive a prize will be provided with a incentive prize certificate. –This certificate will expire 45 days post-event on July 26, with no exceptions. Individuals raising more than $1000 will receive a $1000 shirt club t-shirt in addition to the participant t-shirt.

27 You are encouraged to bring your own tent –Tents will bottoms cannot be on the inside of the track –No long stakes allowed (don’t want to damage the sprinkler system) –Space is limited so please be cognizant of space you are taking up

29 Homework Last Time: Get your team members registered online! Hang 2 Relay flyers at work or a place you frequently go Challenge your team to do the letter writing challenge

30 Homework For Next Team Captain Meeting Get your team members to email at least five people using the Relay For Life online system.
