3 How to start:  Watch Webinar Cookie Rally Training Thursday, November 12, 2015, 10:00am  Forms PS-05 Budget and MEP, PS-24 Activity Registration, Flyer, Training and Rally bonus form, etc.  Theme Birthday party, Milk and cookies jammie jam  Venue, date and time Gym, cafeteria? Saturday afternoon?  Cost involved what ’ s your budget? Will it cover crafts, patches, snacks, venue?  Deadlines Set a date for registration for the event to be CLOSED

4 Five skills for girls  Goal Setting  Decision Making  Money Management  People Skills  Business Ethics

5 Agenda Allow:  30-45 minutes for set up  20-30 minutes for check in and welcome  15-20 minutes for group activities  10 minutes for each station  20-30 minutes for food  20-30 minutes for clean up

6 Different Styles  Group Rotation Style (Grouped into cookie named groups, rotated around 6 stations)  Troop table style (troops sat together and visited each station table, bringing crafts to their table to work on)  Recommended-Girl Led Rally (courtesy of Troop 634, 10 stations, games, skits; they had it all)

9 Check-In Table Have a troop run the check in table by handing out the “ passports ”, drawing tickets, and having someone to keep the Scouts in line patient. Maybe they can teach them a cheer or song!

10 Goal Setting Make use of the hundreds of craft ideas that your troop, Pinterest, or Lil ’ Brownie Bakers have available.

11 Technology Have a cute photo booth set up for Scouts to take photos! Focus on Online Etiquette with tips on how to market safely online. Have a Digital Cookie handout for Scouts to bring home to parents.

12 Selling Skills Encourage the girls to role play to practice interacting with their customers. The more they practice, the more confidence they will gain. Have “customers” ask them questions about cookie ingredients.

13 Have fun crafts or activities to help the Scouts learn the ingredients and descriptive words for each cookie. Product Knowledge

14 Booth Marketing Give the girls an opportunity to think about how they will creatively market their booths. Pass out Bling your Booth fliers.

15 Rewards Parade This will give an opportunity to the girls to see the rewards. This also helps them with their goal setting!

16 Other Programming Areas  Gift of Caring Explain why and how the donations are important  Safe Selling Safety in selling online and in person  Financial Literacy Making change, filling out bank deposits, counting money

17  Training! Training! Training for YOU and each Troop Product Manager in your unit  Host a Cookie Rally for your Service Unit that has 5 Skills for Girls, Gift of Caring, and Digital Cookies.  Get the Service Unit Bonus form turned in to council. Service Unit Bonus $$

18 Some helpful tips:  Recruit one troop per station. Larger troops can have 2 stations. The will run the station during the event.  Use the Sample Incentives from the previous year for a couple of drawing prizes.  Have the check in table give out a passport encouraging the troops to visit every station.

19 Some helpful tips:  Call council for cookie samples. They base how many boxes receive on how many attendees you have.  This is a troop event. Safety Activity Checkpoints need to be observed.  Have a “ hang out ” area for those Scouts who run through the stations quicker than others. Offer them a cookie picture to color!

20 Some helpful tips:  Jan. 17 th is Remembrance Day. Have a Moment of Silence to honor Juliette Gordon Lowe ’ s passing.  Pinterest! Lil ’ Brownie Bakers! They have the best ideas for crafts for the stations!  Have a microphone and background music. After all, it is a party!

21 Not all troops will be able to attend. Offer to order them some Kickoff Patches with your Fun Patch order. They can get together with another troop or two, holding their own “Mini Rally”.
