10.  High School Diploma or Equivalent PLUS:  Minimum SAT Scores:  SAT within last 5 years.  480 Verbal and 540 Math, plus an 88 on COMPASS Reading.  OR  Minimum ACT scores of at least 21 Verbal and 23 Math, also with an 88 COMPASS Reading score Admission Requirements

12.  Students qualifying by the general education route must take a placement test.  Students scoring lower than a 45 on ASSET Reading or 88 on Compass must enroll in the appropriate reading course(s) in order to qualify for entry into the program. Admission Requirements

13.  Upon qualifying for the program, the student must pay a $50 processing fee in order to be placed on the waiting list in the CASS office located in the Student Services building.

14. Admission Requirements  Students are required to attend an advising session with the Radiology program faculty prior to entering the program to outline all the details of your coursework.

15.  When your names comes up on the waiting list, a letter will be sent by Student Services informing you of your official acceptance into the program.  Be certain you keep your contact information updated at the college!  The letter will request payment of $100 nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit for confirmation of your intent to enroll in the next class.  Response must be given by the deadline on the letter or you will forfeit your slot. 16.  You must provide the following items prior to the first day of class:  Have a complete physical examination within 3 months of starting the program. This includes several blood tests for proof of disease immunity.  Proof of two MMR vaccinations or proof of immunity by titer for entire MMR if vaccination is not provided. Rubella and Varicella titers required (If titers prove non-immunity then booster vaccinations are required). Proof of 2 step PPD within the last 3 months and Hepatitis vaccine recommended (documentation of declination is required if student does not have the vaccine).  Complete the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR BLS course.  Provide evidence of medical insurance.  Submit proof of payment for your Criminal Background check.  Complete required drug screens and orientations at clinical affiliates. 22. Upon Completion of the program  You will sit for the national certification examination by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the ARRT, to become a Registered RT, (R). 
