CHURCH PRACTICE STRATEGY Open Groups Open groups are ongoing, evangelistic Bible study units that help to lead people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and to build “on- mission” Christians by engaging people in evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship.
22
CHURCH PRACTICE STRATEGY Corporate Worship Corporate worship exists to celebrate God’s grace and mercy, to proclaim God’s truth, and to evangelize the lost. This occurs in an atmosphere of encountering the presence, holiness, and revelation of Almighty God. The corporate worship service is an open gathering of believers and unbelievers. It becomes another entry point for unbelievers into the church.
23
CHURCH PRACTICE STRATEGY Closed Group Closed Groups exist to build kingdom leaders and to equip believers to serve by engaging people in discipleship that moves them toward spiritual transformation.
24
CHURCH PRACTICE STRATEGY Ministry Teams Ministry Teams exist to build up the body of Christ to accomplish the work of service within the church and outside the church, and to be involved in missions wherever God leads.
