Demonstratives In English the demonstrative adjectives are used to indicate where specific items are in relation to ourselves.

Demonstrative adjectives are used with the object is named IMMEDIATELY AFTER the demonstrative.

Demonstrative adjectives are just like any other adjective and must agree in NUMBER and GENDER.

Demonstrative pronouns are used when the object was ALREADY NAMED. “ONE” or “ONES” is said or implied.
