Copernicus He believed in a heliocentric solar system rather than geocentric solar system. In other words, he believed the earth revolved around the sun. This challenged the Catholic Church‘s teaching that the earth was the center of the solar system.

Sir Isaac Newton He is considered the father of Calculus, which became the mathematical language of science. He is famous for his laws of gravity and motion which explained many aspects of the physical world. He proved Kepler‘s elliptical orbit theory through mathematics.
