Focus Lesson: Colonial… Direct Instruction Women’s rights Citizenship Phillis Wheatley Guided Practice Class Reading: “Phillis Wheatley: A Revolutionary Woman” (Elements… pp. 60-61) Take 3 QNTs on excerpts which speak directly to civil rights. Cooperative Learning Divide into small gorups (4 people max.). On your QNT sheets, identify the main idea of the work and some possible reasons why Wheatley wrote it.
